Looking for Spring

Some signs of spring can't be overlooked.

Ice is breaking up

 Geese are settling in

and my yard fills with robins and cedar waxwings 

as the apples emerge from under the snow

Please warm up Mother Nature.  Bring us a little bit of heat. 

Even the waxwings are shivering.

The Unsprung Spring

Winter and it's accompanying ice and snow are beautiful 

and delight our senses again and again. 

 

 

  But enough is enough!  

Spring arrived at 8:03 this morning 

and here on PEI, brought with it, a snowstorm.

 We need a big dose of spring.  

We want to shake off that winter snow and frost and

watch the soil underneath send up some beautiful shoots

Kitty can just taste it.
